Keeping a Couple of Chickens at Home

It's pretty easy to keep a couple of hens. They improve your soil and eat your leftovers too. If you only have a couple, you don't really need to get chicken feed ... at least we didn't, there are always plate scrapings, bones (they love meat), weeds, buggy something from the shelf, pan drippings. They eat anything people eat ... they are omnivores and really love meat and fat, and most fruits and veggies, and grain. I got mine originally because we don't have a garbage disposal.
